Other special features include "HYBRID" emblems on front fenders and an "HSD" (Hybrid Synergy Drive) emblem on the rear decklid. Furthermore, the white reverse lights on the rear of the hybrid model are boomerang-shaped, while the ones on other trims are straight.

To commemorate 50 years of Toyota sales in the United States (Toyota Motor Sales began operating on October 31, 1957), Toyota built a special edition Camry Hybrid. Ford Flex

The Ford Flex is a full-size crossover manufactured by Ford. Its styling is based on the Ford Fairlane concept unveiled at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. The production vehicle made its debut at the 2007 New York International Auto Show. Sales of the Flex began in summer of 2008 as a 2009 model. The Flex is produced on the same assembly line as the Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers at the Oakville Assembly Plant in Oakville, Ontario, where the first Flex was driven off the line at the beginning of June 2008.

The Flex continues Ford's signature chrome horizontal three-bar grille design, as seen on the Edge, Taurus X, Fusion, and 2008 Taurus. The windows and pillars appear blacked out, and the roof is available as either white, silver, or body-colored. The Flex includes LED tail lamps and HID head lamps as an option (SEL & Limited models), and a "capless fueling" system, which does away with the traditional fueling door and cap, and provides better sealing to reduce evaporative emissions from the fuel tank. The standard wheels are 18-inch diameter, with 19-inch versions available. 20-inch diameter wheels will become available later in 2008 calendar year, according to Ford brochures.

It was the successor to the 2002 coupe, and has now been produced in five different incarnations and a no less than five different bodystyles. The 3 Series is the best selling foreign luxury sedan in the United States — 98,000 vehicles were sold in 2005.

The 3 Series has been on Car and Driver magazine's annual Ten Best list 17 times, from 1992 through 2008, making it the longest running entry in the list. The E90 was named "Best New Sports Sedan" in the 2006 Canadian Car of the Year awards. Also, it was awarded the World Car of the Year at the New York Auto Show in 2006.

Toyota Yaris

The Toyota Vitz (sold in different markets as the Toyota Yaris and Toyota Echo) is a line of subcompact cars first launched by Toyota in 1999, designed by Sotiris Kovos. The Vitz is a 3 and 5 door hatchback automobile.

In Europe, the Americas, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, the Vitz is sold as the Yaris Liftback (or simply Yaris). Up to 2005, the Vitz was known as the Echo Hatchback Canada, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, with the Toyota Platz sedan being known as the Echo; the first generation Vitz as never sold in the US. Since 2006, the Vitz and Belta are marketed in US/Canada as the Yaris Hatchback and Yaris, respectively.

Toyota redesigned the Vitz in early 2005, immediately going on sale in Japan. The European, Australian, Canadian, Mexican, and Puerto Rican markets saw the second generation Vitz near the end of 2005. In the Australian and North American markets, the car was sold as the "Yaris" for the first time. The production 2007 Toyota Yaris for the US market was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006. The new Yaris is built in Japan, France, and Thailand.

Honda Accord

The Honda Accord is an automobile manufactured by Honda since 1976, debuting as a compact hatchback and evolving into a intermediate vehicle. It has been sold in most automotive markets throughout the world. The Accord became the first Japanese car to be produced in the US in 1982, when production commenced in Marysville, Ohio at Marysville Auto Plant.

Over the years, Honda has offered many different body styles and versions of the Accord, and often vehicles marketed under the Accord nameplate concurrently in different markets differ quite substantially. With the advent of the most recent Accord for 2008, Honda again has chosen to move the model further upscale and increase in its size. This increase in size pushed Accord from upper limit of a mid-size car by EPA standard for a 2007 model to just above the lower limit of a full-size car, with the coupe still rated as a compact car.

Honda revealed some detail shots and a teaser video of the European spec Accord in January 2008, before debuting it at Geneva Motor Show in March. Available engines are the 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre i-VTEC petrol engines, as well as the 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. All engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the petrol engines get in addition to that a 5-speed automatic transmission.

It went on sale in Japan and Europe in mid-2008. It is also available in US as second-generation Acura TSX.

Honda Civic

The Honda Civic is a compact car manufactured by Honda. It was introduced in July 1972 as a two-door coupe, followed by a three-door version that September. With transverse engine mounting of its 1169 cc engine and front-wheel drive like the British Mini, the car provided good interior space despite overall small dimensions.

Early models of the Civic were typically outfitted with a basic AM radio, a rudimentary heater, foam-cushioned plastic trim, two-speed wipers and painted steel rims with a chromed wheel nut cap. The current Civic has become much more luxurious with air conditioning, power locks, and power windows, plus options like leather upholstery, satellite-linked navigation, a six-speed manual transmission. Initially gaining a reputation for being fuel-efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly, later iterations have become well-known for performance and sportiness, especially the Civic Type-R and Civic Si.

The Civic has been rebadged for international markets with such models as the Honda Ballade and Honda Domani/Acura EL. The Civic platform also served as the basis for the CR-X sport compact, the CR-X del Sol targa convertible, and the CR-V compact SUV.

In the United States of America, the Civic is the second-longest continuously-running nameplate from a Japanese manufacturer; only the Toyota Corolla, introduced in 1968, has been in production longer. As of 2008, the Civic has been the top-selling car in Canada for ten straight years. With high gas prices and a weak economy in June 2008, the Civic supplanted the Ford F-150 to become the top-selling vehicle in the United States.

Toyota Prius

The Toyota Prius is a hybrid electric mid-size car developed and manufactured by the Toyota Motor Corporation.

The Prius first went on sale in Japan in 1997, making it the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle. It was subsequently introduced worldwide in 2001. The Prius is sold in more than 40 countries and regions, with its largest markets being those of Japan and North America.

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the 2008 Prius is the most fuel efficient car sold in the U.S.

According to the UK Department for Transport, the Prius is tied as the third least CO2-emitting vehicle on sale in the UK, and there are eight cars which are more fuel-efficient than it for the combined use cycle.

The first Prius, model NHW10, went on sale in December 1997. It was sold only in Japan, though they have been imported privately to the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Many of these cars are now being exported as second-hand vehicles to New Zealand and other countries.
